Esther Alcocer Koplowitz attends the Princess of Asturias Awards
The chairwoman of the FCC Group, Esther Alcocer Koplowitz, once again attended the official Princess of Asturias Awards ceremony on behalf of the FCC Group, a trustee of the Princess of Asturias Foundation.
Their Majesties the King and Queen, accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses the Princess of Asturias and Infanta Sofía, presided over the solemn awards ceremony, held at the Campoamor Theatre in Oviedo on Friday 25 October last, in the presence of Her Majesty Queen Sofía.
The ceremony is considered one of the most prestigious cultural events in Spain. Throughout its history, these awards have received various recognitions, such as the extraordinary declaration made by UNESCO in 2004 for its exceptional contribution to the cultural heritage of Humanity.
The Foundation organises these awards every year with the aim of recognising the scientific, technical, cultural, social and human work carried out by individuals, institutions, groups of people or institutions in the international sphere. This year, Esther Alcocer Koplowitz was a member of the Jury for the Princess of Asturias Award for Concord 2024.
