Do you Watch or Take Part?, FCC's awareness-raising campaign for International SDG Week

FCC is celebrating SDG Week with the launch of an international Instagram photo contest under the slogan ‘Do you watch or Take part?’ open to all FCC Group employees, whose purpose is to encourage employees to commit to the Sustainable Development Goals through photography.

In this way, the FCC Group is inviting people to capture photographs that represent one or more of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The five photographs with the most likes on Instagram will become the finalists and from these five, the Selection Committee will decide the three winning photographs.

With this initiative, FCC aims to connect people through a call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, reduce inequalities and improve the lives and prospects of people around the world.

As an international benchmark company in the provision of citizen services, which maintains the mission of designing, carrying out and managing environmental services, the management of the integral water cycle and the construction of large infrastructure projects to improve the quality of life of citizens in an efficient and sustainable manner, FCC is committed to continuously facing the challenge represented by the 2030 Agenda and adopting the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals as its own, permanently seeking and promoting new actions.

For its part, the Sustainability Policy provides the FCC Group with the ESG approach necessary to meet the growing sustainability demands of its stakeholders, contribute to the achievement of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and promote innovation. In addition, FCC has been a member of the United Nations Global Compact initiative since 7 May 2007, the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative. Since the approval of the 2030 Agenda in 2015, the company has worked to align its corporate management with the Sustainable Development Goals, where it finds new business opportunities, improves relations with its stakeholders and promotes innovation.

The FCC Group's Sustainability Report is a testimony to the company's commitment to corporate responsibility and sustainable development, achieving significant milestones and recognitions that validate the innovative and sustainable approach that characterises FCC. The results of the main magnitudes according to the ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) criteria reaffirm FCC's alignment and continuous improvement with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and other internationally recognised initiatives.
