■ Climate action. The FCC Group’s efforts against climate change are aimed at redu - cing greenhouse gas emissions by impro - ving energy efficiency and the progressive decarbonisation of activities. We make res - ponsible use of natural resources; we rely on technological innovation and digitalisa - tion to design more efficient processes and products. We are also committed to the use of renewable energies and electric mobility. ■ Circular economy. FCC plays a leading role in the circular economy model, inte - grating essential principles such as the efficient consumption of resources and in - creasing their life cycle into all its business lines. Through innovation, we promote the consumption and production of alternative materials and fuels from waste, and we transform waste into new value-added pro - ducts such as fertilisers, packaging, cons - truction materials and cosmetics. In addi - tion, we offer our customers new reusable materials with a more sustainable design and manufacturing. FCC Group’s lines of action in ESG matters ■ Water management. Faced with a resource as necessary and scarce as water, the FCC Group is increasingly strengthening its posi - tion in the management of water stress. Throu - gh its integrated water management business, it works to provide an efficient service at all stages, and carries out a great deal of work to raise awareness and sensitise people to the efficient use and consumption of this resource. ■ Protecting biodiversity. Our commitment to environmental sustainability also includes the promotion and conservation of the natural en - vironment. We mitigate the impact of our acti - vities and guarantee the care and repair of bio - diversity, with reforestation or wildlife rescue projects. FCC also maintains agreements with nature protection associations, and conserves areas of incalculable ecological value such as Las Lagunas de Medina del Campo in Vallado - lid, those of El Porcal in Madrid, or the Coto La Caleta in El Puerto de Santa María in Cádiz.
