FCC, in collaboration with Alcoben- das City Council, organised the 5th Children’s Road Safety Day, a family activity that took place on Saturday 3 June 2023 at the Alcobendas Road Safety Education Park, with fun and educational activities on road safety for children and family members of FCC employees. The children’s programme was struc- tured in two parts: a theoretical modu- le lasting about an hour, which aimed to raise awareness of proper beha- viour on the roads as pedestrians, travellers and bicycle drivers, and a practical module that took place on the park’s circuit, with routes on foot and in go-karts, vehicles provided by the park to carry out the activity and experience a real traffic and circula - tion situation. Both actions were led by the Alcobendas Local Police. As a company committed to sustai- nability, FCC has framed this initiative within its corporate welfare objecti- ves, and with this experience it aims to raise awareness of the importance of road safety education in a close and familiar context, while sharing a relaxed and entertaining time among the people of the company and their families.
