FCC Environment has received two major awards at the ‘LetsRe- cycle’ Awards for Excellence. The awards recognise companies for their achievements in recycling, waste reuse and waste reduction. FCC Environment is committed to achieving “net zero” and redu - cing its carbon footprint, considering that repair and reuse are at the heart of reducing emissions by keeping items in service for longer and avoiding the manufacture of new ones. Civic Amenity of the Year category to High Wycombe. Buckinghamshire Council’s High Wycombe Household Recycling Centre (HRC) has been voted best in the country in the ‘Let’s Recycle’ awards for excellence in recycling and waste management. An exam- ple where council, public and operators have joined forces to make a tangible, real and measurable difference.
