We are FCC Nº22

Cristina began her career with FCC Construcción 23 years ago with confidence, in the Bridges department, after finishing her university degree in Civil Engi- neering. Since then, she feels she is part of a big family and considers herself lucky. Among the projects in which she has been involved are the Wanda Metropolitano, the Caja Mágica, the Museum of Royal Collections, the Cibeles Communications Pa- lace, all of them in Madrid; and on the other hand, the remodelling of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, in which it is currently involved and which is a challenge due to its continuous modifications to meet the client’s needs. The opportunity to join the company at the beginning of her professional career was very exciting and en- riching for her, and she was eager and motivated to learn and develop. She has worked on different cons - truction sites, and from each of the projects in which she has been in- volved she has been able to extract many things, from different ways of working, to the fact of being able to form part of larger and more diver- sified teams. She has learned a lot from them, especially dedication and effort in a collaborative environment. The remodelling of the Nudo Norte in Madrid is for Maribel the most sig- nificant project she has been invol - ved in. It has allowed her to acquire a global and complete vision of what is involved in the execution of a pro- ject of such characteristics and the working methodology of the Madrid City Council.
