Recognition of Andrew Walton , street cleaner for FCC Environment, for his dedication and commitment in Lutterworth, England. Andrew Walton, an environmental operative with FCC Environment UK’s waste collection and street cleaning service in Lutterworth, a town in the county of Leicestershire, has been re - cognised by the company for his dedi - cation and commitment to keeping the town clean and tidy every day, even on Sundays, when he can be seen clea - ning up around the local church. Andrew, who has also received praise and compliments from local residents, says he enjoys what he does. He ca - rries out his daily tasks with great dili - gence and says that regardless of the weather, he always approaches the job with the same motivation: “I really enjoy it and take a lot of pride in it”. Andrew, on the other hand, empha - sises how much he enjoys communi - cating with his neighbours: “I love the social side and it’s great chatting to people when I’m doing my rounds and hearing nice feedback”. This recognition has earned him a place on the shortlist for FCC Envi - ronment UK’s Achievement Awards, which the company has set up to re - cognise the efforts and dedication of its employees.
